Add IndustryLens to Cursor
Add IndustryLens to Cursor in one click.
Install
Cursor opens, asks permission, and you are connected.
Manual config (Settings → MCP → Add)
{
"industrylens": {
"url": "https://api.industry-lens.com/mcp/public"
}
}Steps
- Click "Add to Cursor" — Cursor opens and asks to install.
- Approve the IndustryLens server when prompted.
- Or add it manually under Settings → MCP with the fallback config.
Verify it worked
Settings → MCP lists industrylens; ask "Find competitors for clay.com".
Try these prompts
- “Who competes with apollo.io?”
- “What did Clay recently change in its go-to-market?”
- “Give me a competitive profile of ramp.com.”
- “List recent strategic moves for ZoomInfo.”
- “Find competitors for cognism.com.”
Troubleshooting
The deep link does nothing
Ensure Cursor is installed and handles cursor:// links, then use the manual config fallback.
Server shows disconnected
Re-add via the fallback config; confirm the URL is https://api.industry-lens.com/mcp/public.
Tools not used
Ask an explicitly competitive question so Cursor reaches for the tools.
