Custom & private
Enterprise customers can add any custom source (a specific competitor URL, a private feed, a niche publication, your own data) on top of this list, and new sources are set up on request.
Where a source would have misled us.
Real claims rejected because the source itself was the problem: a page limit, a flickering capture, a weak citation. Vendors stay unnamed so we never repeat a figure we had to drop.
“A vendor removed its hiring message from its careers page.”
The message comes and goes between captures, so one capture without it is not a removal.
“A vendor is listing exactly 50 open roles.”
50 is the job board’s page limit, not a real count. The true number is unknown.
“A vendor cut staff and shut its international offices.”
The only source was a months-old article built on unconfirmed social posts.

Questions about the data pipeline
How often are sources checked?
Ads and news are checked daily. Pages, reviews, social and hiring signals are checked weekly. Every capture runs through the same 29-check validation before it reaches a briefing.
View the validation pipeline →What happens when a source goes down?
Every insight needs at least two independent sources. If one source is unavailable, the pipeline falls back to the last good capture and the insight is held or flagged until a second source confirms it.
Can I add custom sources?
With Enterprise, yes: specific competitor URLs, private feeds, niche publications or your own data can be added to the monitoring set, and they run through the same pipeline as the default sources. New sources are set up on request.
Is this really every source, or just the headline list?
This is the full list: 62 source types across 11 categories, from pricing pages to app-store reviews to SEC filings. Each company you track draws on the ones that fit it, and any source on this list can be added to your set when you ask.
