Prefer to stay inside an AI assistant?
The same intelligence is also queryable from Claude, Cursor and any other MCP-aware tool through the MCP connector — no code required.

Questions about the API.

What plan do I need?

The read-only REST API is included on every paid plan — Growth, Professional and Scale. There is no separate API add-on and no per-call fee.

See plans →
How do I authenticate?

Every request carries a bearer API key in the Authorization header: Authorization: Bearer <your_api_key>. Generate and rotate keys from your account settings — no OAuth flow, no shared secret to coordinate.

Is the API read-only?

Yes. It is built for pulling your competitive intelligence into a data warehouse, an internal dashboard, or another tool in your stack — not for writing data back. To add human-reviewed intel from inside an AI assistant instead, use the MCP connector’s suggest_intel tool.

See the MCP connector →
How is this different from the MCP connector?

Same underlying data, different consumer. The MCP connector is built for AI agents (Claude, Cursor, and any MCP-aware tool) to query mid-task. The REST API is built for your own code — a script, a BI tool, or a service you run — to pull the same competitors, signals, pricing changes, battlecards and moves on a schedule you control.

What format does it return?

JSON. Each resource returns the same fields your dashboard renders from — nothing summarised away.

What are the rate limits, pagination and versioning?

Ask us for current rate limits and pagination details when you set up access. Endpoints stay on /v1 — a breaking change would ship as a new version rather than altering /v1 under you.
